Palm LifeDrive What a ride! In August 2000, I bought my first Palm device, A Handspring Visor Deluxe. I went nuts on that thing. I started writing Palm web content, creating databases for free download. Since I own the South End Zone, I created NFL schedule data for the Palm. Then on September 19, 2000, Matt Hotujec, a Packer fan in Minneapolis, suggested that I consider creating content available via AvantGo. Next thing you know, the South End Zone Channel was born. The SEZ Channel is a source for NFL league data that you can carry with you every where you go (works on both Palm OS and PocketPC). Game results, standings, schedules (in your own time zone), rosters, you name it. Be sure to check it out.

Then in August 2003, I bought a Dell Axim X5, a PocketPC device. The main reason for this was that it has both an SD card slot and a CF card slot. It was mostly a hardware choice, and it turned out to be VERY convenient. I used that device for three years and just got sick of Outlook. I usually learn software pretty easily, but Outlook was such a pain to use and I tired of all its quirks. Plus it had been three years and I needed an upgrade to keep up with how my customers were viewing the SEZ Channel.

So, in August 2006, I switched back to the Palm OS with my new Palm LifeDrive Mobile Manager. This is a great device, with 4GB of on board storage and a screen that displays vivid images!

Unfortunately, during that three-year hiccup when I was a PocketPC user, this web site kind of fell by the wayside. Sorry. But I'm back. Be sure to check out my free downloads. I welcome any comments.
